潮记牛肉面
No ready food. No pre-made bowls. Hand-cut Australian beef and bone broth simmered the slow way, just time, fire, and the kind of care our grandmothers cooked with.

We are two Penang-born, third-generation Teochew brothers who grew up eating what this city eats. Teow Kee is the bowl we wished existed, Teochew at heart, modern in the kitchen, slow in the way that matters.

牛肉面
Teow Kee was born and raised in Penang. It draws from Teochew heritage, and from the warmth and food memory of the city itself.
The Teochew people have a stubbornness about beef, a sensitivity to fire, and a refusal to compromise on flavour.
No over-packaged story. No ready food. No pre-made bowls. What we have is care, for flavour, for fire, for quality.
Four promises, kept by hand.

This is not fast food.

Our Story
Teowkee was born in Penang. The roots are Teochew, the soul is this city, built on its people, its warmth, and its food memory. Two third-generation Teochew founders, both Penang-born, opened this brand with years of kitchen and operating experience between them.
We hand-cut imported Australian beef every day. We slow-simmer beef-bone broth for hours. From cut to broth to plating, every step is done seriously. There is no over-packaged story here, just patience, fire, and a bowl built with intent.

What Our Guests Say
The broth has that rare depth that you can only get from real, slow cooking. This is the bowl I keep coming back for.
Tender brisket, springy noodles, and a service team that genuinely cares. Hands down my new favourite beef noodle spot.
Pork-free and lard-free was a huge plus, but the flavour is what won me over. I've brought the whole family.
From the warm welcome to the last drop of soup, every detail feels considered. This is heritage cooking done right.

New outlets, seasonal bowls, the occasional family note. We send rarely, only when there's something worth saying.
